Among the hills close to the
Sibillini Mounts, where the vine is more tenacious
and the work of men harder, the "Vernaccia
Nera" vineyard of Serrapetrona expresses its
uniqueness. The wine is a red ruby colour.
The perfect olfactory balance between fruity
and spicy fragrance together with the finesse
and the elegance are intensified in the mouth
thanks to a harmony between the soft tannic
structure, the flavour and acidity. This balance
springs from the interaction between the typical
"Vernaccia Nera" vineyard and its territory
of "Serrapetrona".
You can taste the Rubizo as a new wine but
also leaving it for few years in the cellar
can reveal interesting surprises.
This wine well matches red meat and game based
dishes.
