This rich and full-bodied red
wine created from Montepulciano grapes from
"Contrada Ciafone" in province of Ascoli Piceno,
one of the most important areas for this typology
of grapes.
The 2004 Realgar hails from this strong natured
territory. At the sight this wine appears
dark red ruby coloured, at the sense of smell
the presence of morello cherry and leather
is clear, at the sense of taste the musculature
of the structure is evident as is the strength
of the alcohol, never without loosing balance
and pleasantness.
This wine well matches dishes based on red
meats.
